Louise Watts is currently undertaking the first six months of her pupillage under Avirup Chaudhuri.
Prior to commencing pupillage at 187 Chambers, Louise worked at the Home Office. She has also volunteered as a legal advisor handling a diverse range of enquiries across consumer, family, housing and welfare law.
Louise was awarded an LLM in Bar Vocational Studies in 2023 after completing advanced criminal practice components and a practice-focussed dissertation on proportionality in sentencing exceptionally serious offences.
