Peter Clark was one of a group of five highly experienced UK practitioners and judges delivering pro bono advocacy training to pupils and teacher training to local lawyers, including senior members of the Sierra Leonean judiciary.
The training course, held in Freetown, was hosted by the Sierra Leone Bar Association and funded by AID (Advocates for International Development), ROLE UK (Rule of Law Expertise) and UK Aid.
Visitors to the training included Sierra Leone’s acting Lord Chief Justice, Nicholas Colin Browne-Marke and the British High Commissioner, Lisa Chesney MBE.
Peter, who has been an accredited advocacy trainer since 2009, has previously taught similar courses in Warsaw, Wroclaw, Singapore and Kenya.
