Located in the heart of London, Andrew Trollope QC and Richard Christie QC lead a well established and specialist crime, fraud and regulatory set of over 60 barristers (8 Queen’s Counsel and 59 Junior Counsel).
At 187 Chambers our highly skilled criminal law barristers regularly appear in the Court of Appeal, High Court, Crown Court and Magistrates’ Court. They are instructed by both defence solicitors and prosecuting agencies and combine first class legal knowledge with formidable courtroom advocacy. Our barristers are experienced in dealing with young and vulnerable witnesses; they provide effective handling and management of complex papers and sensitive issues.
Described as expert, accessible, knowledgeable and friendly, we have represented clients in many high-profile cases, often attracting national and international publicity. Our barristers practise in England and Wales and overseas jurisdictions, including the Channel Islands and the Turks and Caicos. We also provide advice to commercial organisations and individuals prior to charge and during the investigatory stages of a case.
